We're so glad to see you!! This blog will post many different things this year including pictures of things we are doing in the classroom, kid projects for your listening and laughing pleasure, and a bunch of different updates through the year. The Grade Level Links on the top bar will take you to information about our curriculum and things that we will be focusing on in music throughout the year! 5th Grade Creating Rhythms!

I am the first person to tell you that technology can help so much in education!  The iPads that the teachers got at The Wheatlands are so helpful in so many ways, and I thought it would be cool to share with all of you an awesome video to help our 5th graders out.  In 5th grade we are learning about creating rhythms on the staff.  This can be super hard, but we are doing the sheets in class to practice together on the iPad, and now I've recorded an extra video to help the kids out, or for you to help your kids out.  So, here is the sheet for 5th grade to practice:
